GLEN ELLYN, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — Archpriest John Matusiak, 69, Director of Communications for the Orthodox Church in America and Pastor Emeritus of Saint Joseph Church, Wheaton, IL, fell asleep in the Lord on the evening of Thursday, August 15, 2019, the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God, after a short battle with cancer. The Funeral Service for a Priest will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Church, 412 Crescent Street, Wheaton, IL 60187, on Monday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20 at 10:00 a.m.
